LinkedIn Ads agency for B2B decision-makers

We design and run LinkedIn Ads campaigns that reach the people who actually decide. Precise targeting, quality content, Lead Gen Forms, video, ABM and analytics, all aimed at real sales conversations rather than clicks.

What a LinkedIn Ads agency does for B2B companies

A LinkedIn Ads agency plans, builds and runs paid campaigns that reach specific job titles, departments, industries and companies, and ties them to leads and pipeline. At Double Digital we do this for B2B companies, technology brands, professional services firms, manufacturers, training providers and other organisations that sell to businesses.

We do not optimise for clicks alone. What counts is whether your ad reaches the right companies and leads to real sales conversations. LinkedIn also works best as one part of a wider performance system: it can build demand and recognition in a B2B audience, while Google Ads captures active searches and Meta Ads and SEO add further touchpoints with your brand.

LinkedIn Ads is not just another social channel

You can target by professional information: job title, seniority, industry, company size, skills or even a specific employer. We use that to reach people who:

Make the decision

Chief executives, owners, board members, directors and people responsible for budgets and for choosing partners.

Influence the choice of supplier

Managers, team leaders, experts and end users who evaluate offers as part of the buying group.

Work at specific companies

ABM campaigns aimed at chosen organisations, named employers and the buying groups that matter to your sales team.

Match your ideal customer profile

We combine job title, function, seniority, industry, skills and company size to reach the audience best suited to your offer.

LinkedIn Ads management, from strategy to business result

We take responsibility for the whole process, from defining the target group and setting up measurement to optimising on the quality of the leads you receive. We connect data from campaigns, forms and your CRM so LinkedIn supports pipeline and real sales. Talk to us about running LinkedIn Ads.

  1. Campaign strategy

We define LinkedIn's role in your marketing system: awareness, demand generation, leads, event promotion, ABM or sales support.

  2. B2B targeting

We build segments from job titles, functions, seniority, industries, skills, company size and lists of specific companies.

  3. Campaign set-up

We structure campaigns and choose objectives, formats, bidding models and budgets.

  4. Creative and messaging

We prepare ad concepts, copy, static creatives, documents, carousels and video suited to the LinkedIn feed.

  5. Lead generation

We set up Lead Gen Forms, landing pages, qualifying questions, follow-up communication and the hand-over of contacts to your CRM.

  6. Analytics and measurement

We implement the LinkedIn Insight Tag, conversions, UTM parameters, GA4 and GTM and, where a project needs it, the Conversions API and CRM integration.

  7. Optimisation

We test audiences, messages, formats, forms, bids and placements, and judge them on fit with your ideal customer profile and progress through sales stages, not only lead volume.

  8. Reporting

We show which campaigns reach the right roles and companies, what a contact costs and how ads translate into pipeline and sales.

How to launch a LinkedIn Ads campaign

Do not start by choosing an ad format. Start by deciding what the campaign should change in your business.

  1. Decide what should change

Which companies do you want to win, who takes part in the decision, how long is the sales cycle and what counts as a valuable conversion?

  2. Define your ideal customer profile

Describe the company most likely to buy and stay: industry, size, location, business model, the problem you solve and the value of the deal.

  3. Map the buying group

List the initiator, user, technical expert, line manager, finance, procurement and board, then match the message to each role.

  4. Pick an objective that fits the funnel stage

Awareness, consideration (video views, traffic, document distribution, events) or conversion (leads, website conversions, registrations).

  5. Prepare measurement before launch

Install the Insight Tag, configure conversions, add UTM parameters, check GA4 and GTM, and connect the campaign to your CRM where possible.

Matching ad formats to your goal

The format should follow the job the ad has to do in the funnel, not how good it looks in a presentation.

GoalFormats we typically consider
AwarenessVideo Ads, Thought Leader Ads, Single Image Ads, Article Ads, Newsletter Ads
Education and considerationDocument Ads, carousels, video, case studies, Event Ads
Lead generationLead Gen Forms, Document Ads with a form, ads to a landing page, Conversation Ads, retargeting
Account-based marketingVideo Ads, Thought Leader Ads, industry-specific content, Document Ads, retargeting, company-list campaigns

Audience size, budget and bidding

There is no ideal audience size for every campaign. LinkedIn's recent guidance often recommends starting prospecting campaigns with audiences of at least about 50,000 people, while smaller segments can work for niche, retargeting or ABM campaigns. A common mistake is stacking job title, industry, company size, skills and interests until the group is too small to deliver. Several separate segments, such as function plus seniority, job titles, named companies, or industry plus company size, let you compare what works.

Your budget should let you reach a meaningful part of the audience, test a few messages and run long enough to match your decision cycle. Do not split a small budget across a dozen campaigns. A better start is one clear goal, two or three segments, a few strong creatives and one consistent measurement system.

LinkedIn offers three basic bidding approaches. Maximum Delivery lets the platform adjust bids to get as many results as possible, which suits the start. Manual bidding gives you control but needs closer monitoring. Cost Cap sets the maximum cost you accept per result and works better once you know a realistic conversion cost, as a limit set too low can restrict delivery.

Lead Gen Form or landing page?

Both can work. The choice depends on the offer, the visitor's intent and the funnel stage. We often test both side by side and judge them on lead quality, not just lead count.

Lead Gen Form

Works without leaving LinkedIn, can pre-fill data and keeps the path short, which suits reports, webinars and consultations. Trade-off: easy submission can lower intent, and contacts must reach sales quickly.

Landing page

Gives more control over the message, room for case studies, FAQ and social proof, and richer qualification. Trade-off: an extra step adds friction, and page speed and tracking strongly affect the result.

How to measure LinkedIn Ads results

CTR alone does not show whether a campaign reaches companies that fit your ideal customer profile or builds pipeline. Choose KPIs that match the funnel stage and connect LinkedIn, GA4, GTM and CRM data.

Funnel stageKPIs
Top of funnelReach, frequency, CPM, video views, completion rate, engagement, growth of retargeting audiences
Middle of funnelCTR, traffic quality, engagement time, document downloads, form opens, registrations
Bottom of funnelLeads, CPL, cost per qualified lead, MQLs and SQLs, meetings, opportunities, pipeline, revenue (for ABM: reach within target accounts, engaged buying group members)

Common mistakes in LinkedIn Ads campaigns

  • Starting with a sales form: a cold audience has no reason yet to book a call.
  • Hyper-precise targeting: too many criteria limit scale and push costs up.
  • One ad for the whole buying group: a finance director and an end user need different arguments.
  • Judging a campaign after a few days, when B2B decisions can take weeks or months.
  • No retargeting, so people who watched a video or opened a document see the same ad as a cold audience.
  • No feedback from sales: marketing sees the form, sales knows whether the lead was any good.

What these results tell you

These are examples from our wider paid media work, not LinkedIn Ads results. For Euromaster we combined audience strategy, landing page messaging, Meta Ads, Google Ads, remarketing and conversion optimisation in one full-funnel campaign. For Hotel Bania we joined Google Ads, advanced analytics and a strategy built around seasonal demand. Read the Euromaster case study and the Hotel Bania case study. The approach we bring to LinkedIn is the same: strategy built on sales and business goals, not clicks.

Everything is professionally planned and the communication is great. Their work increased sales of new product groups in Poland and Austria, meeting our expectations.
