An ecommerce marketing agency built around your store's ROAS

An ecommerce marketing agency runs the channels that turn a product catalogue into revenue: the product feed, Google Shopping and Performance Max, Meta and TikTok, and the path to checkout. At Double Digital one team handles all of it and reports against your store's ROAS and margin, not impressions.

What an ecommerce marketing agency does

Selling online is a chain: a clean product feed, campaigns that use it, ads that reach people at the right moment, and a cart that converts. If one link is weak, the budget leaks. A good ecommerce marketing agency owns the whole chain, so the feed in Merchant Center, the bidding in Google Ads and the conversion data in GA4 are built to work together.

That is what separates it from a general advertising agency. We are not chasing reach or brand recall. We look at revenue per euro spent, cost per order and what is left after margin. If your goal is broad awareness rather than sales from the catalogue, a B2C brand agency will suit you better, and we will say so.

It also differs from a freelancer or an in-house hire. One person rarely covers feed management, Performance Max, Meta, analytics and conversion work at once, and their absence stops sales. An agency gives you the whole bench without recruiting it. The trade-off is that you need to share sales data and decide quickly. If your catalogue is very small, traffic is thin or margins cannot support a larger ad budget, fixing the offer and measurement first is usually the better investment.

Problems we are usually hired to fix

Most stores come to us with the same few symptoms. Each has a structural cause that can be found and measured.

Shopping spend with no return

Budget goes into product campaigns but ROAS stays flat. We audit the feed and campaign structure to see which products earn money and which only consume budget.

Sales stuck on a few bestsellers

The rest of the catalogue never gets traffic. We build Shopping and Performance Max around the full range, not only the products that already sell.

Abandoned carts and weak checkout

Traffic arrives but orders do not close. Dynamic remarketing and conversion work on product pages, cart and checkout recover sales from visitors you have already paid for.

A ROAS figure that ignores margin

A high ROAS in a report means little if returns and margin are left out. We agree a break-even ROAS for your margins first and scale from there.

Who we work with

Stores scaling sales

Shops that want revenue from the whole catalogue. In a clothing store campaign we reached ROAS of 1,066% with sales up 280% and cost per acquisition 40% lower.

Direct-to-consumer brands

Brands selling direct that need Google Shopping, Performance Max and abandoned-cart remarketing in Meta to work from one clean feed.

Stores selling on several channels

Retailers combining their own site with marketplaces and price-comparison sites who want a higher ROAS as budgets grow. For premium jewellery shop LapisGold.pl on Microsoft Ads we reached ROAS of 1,112% with sales up 85%.

How we work with online stores

The process is the same whether the catalogue has hundreds of products or many thousands. Channels are chosen from your range, margin and account data, not from a fixed package.

  1. Audit the store, account and feed

We review the ad account, product feed and purchase path: catalogue structure, product statuses and where carts are lost. From that we set measurable sales goals and a target ROAS.

  2. Strategy and Merchant Center

We clean up the feed and Merchant Center (attributes, titles, disapprovals) and choose the channel mix for your margin and range. Budget is concentrated on the whole catalogue instead of spread thin.

  3. Launch Shopping, Performance Max and Meta

Product campaigns go live across the catalogue and Meta remarketing recovers abandoned carts. In parallel we set up GA4, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio so revenue is measured from day one.

  4. Optimise ROAS and scale

We improve ROAS and cart conversion from data and add channels, such as TikTok, as the numbers show room. You get transparent reporting and a stable contact who runs your campaigns, not a rotating account manager.

What we run for online stores

Each channel has its own service page with the detail. Here is how they fit together in a store.

What this looks like in practice

1,066%

ROAS for a clothing store, with sales up 280% and CPA 40% lower

1,000%+

ROAS for toy vending machines, up from 300%, sales +229%, cost per conversion -64%

1,112%

ROAS for LapisGold.pl premium jewellery on Microsoft Ads, sales +85%

2.56% to 8.78%

conversion rate at KalendarzeCSK.pl, with CPA down from about €59 (PLN 259) to about €38 (PLN 164)

Read these numbers with care

These are results from individual client campaigns, each with its own market, margin and starting point. They show what disciplined feed and campaign work can do, not what any store will get. We never guarantee a ROAS, and we ask for your margins before setting a target. Read the full stories: the clothing store, toy vending machines and KalendarzeCSK.pl. The same approach has produced other kinds of result, such as a luxury hotel's direct bookings and franchise partner leads for Euromaster.

How agencies charge, and which model fits

There is no single price list, because catalogues, margins and channels differ. These are the three models we use. We recommend one after a short call and an audit of your account and feed.

ModelBest forHow it works
Monthly retainerStores that want steady multichannel managementA defined scope across Shopping, Performance Max, Meta and feed work, with a predictable cost that does not swing with monthly sales.
Percentage of ad spendStores actively scaling spend across the catalogueOur fee is an agreed percentage of the Google Ads and Meta Ads budget, so it grows as the account grows.
Success fee on ROASMature accounts focused on scalingPart of the fee depends on ROAS above an agreed threshold, so we are paid on store revenue, not only on work done.

Five mistakes when choosing an ecommerce agency

These are the problems we most often find when stores arrive after working with a previous agency. Ask any agency how it measures ROAS, who will run your feed day to day, and who owns the ad account.

  • A neglected product feed. Without clean titles, attributes and handled disapprovals, ads miss the right searches and burn budget.
  • Campaigns limited to a few bestsellers. Shopping and Performance Max should work across the whole catalogue.
  • ROAS reported without margin. Returns and real profitability belong in the target from the start.
  • No dynamic remarketing. Most people who add to basket do not buy first time, and without remarketing that revenue is lost.
  • No work on cart and checkout. Ads cannot rescue a checkout where half the shoppers leave at delivery or payment.

Selling across borders

We run ecommerce campaigns for the EU, DACH and the UK, fully remotely, and our campaigns run on 25 export markets. We extend feeds and product campaigns to new countries and currencies and adjust the approach to local competition and margins. Organic growth abroad is covered by our international SEO service.

For European stores we also operate our own Comparison Shopping Service (CSS), Feedve, and can use it in Shopping campaigns where it fits. The details are on our page about Shopping ads with a CSS.

Their professionalism and individual approach are impressive. The team runs our Google Ads campaigns with technical support and has increased our sales. The results are top-notch.
