Case study

119 valuable leads in 30 days from Meta Ads for an automotive business

A new lead generation strategy in Meta Ads brought an automotive business 119 valuable leads in 30 days. We segmented the audiences, simplified the forms, retargeted interested people and tested messages and graphics. The question was not how many people fill in the form, but who does.

The client and the goal

The client is a business in the automotive industry. Its name is not disclosed. It wanted more enquiries for quotes and ran lead generation campaigns on Facebook.

The goal was to win leads that really turn into customers. We rebuilt the approach in Meta Ads.

The challenge: how to generate quality leads on a low budget

The client wanted to increase the number of enquiries for quotes. The earlier lead campaigns on Facebook had mostly attracted low-quality contacts, and those contacts did not end in a transaction.

More form submissions would not have solved this. The campaigns needed to reach the people who were ready to buy and filter out the rest.

What we did: optimising the lead generation strategy in Meta Ads

We worked on four areas.

  1. Audience segmentation

We reached the people most inclined to buy.

  2. Form optimisation

We simplified the enquiry form to eliminate leads that were not engaged.

  3. Dynamic retargeting

We reached people who had shown interest but had not filled in the form.

  4. A/B tests of messages and graphics

We checked which messages and visuals work best. Our Meta Ads optimisation service covers this kind of testing.

The results: more valuable leads at a lower cost

119 leads in 30 days. A steady inflow of valuable enquiries.

Higher lead quality. We eliminated users who were not ready to make contact.

Better conversion to sales. A higher share of the leads turned into customers.

The original case study gives the 119 leads as the total for 30 days. It does not publish the budget, the cost per lead or the sales figures, so we report only the figures it states.

Our takeaway

Lead generation is not just about numbers. The key is winning contacts that really convert.

What this means for your own lead generation

Low-quality leads cost twice: you pay for them in the ad account, and then your sales team pays for them in time. In this project, the work focused on who the form reached and how easy it was to complete, not on pushing up the count.

If your lead campaigns bring in contacts that never close, see how we run Meta Ads management or talk to us about your own campaigns.
