The client and the goal

Roletki24.pl is an online shop selling window coverings. It works in an industry with strong competition, where many advertisers bid for the same searches.

The goal was clear: lower the cost of winning a contact from a potential customer, without lowering the quality of those leads. We ran the work as a Google Ads project.

The challenge: lowering the cost of winning a customer in a competitive industry

The main problem was a cost per contact that was too high. In addition, part of the leads did not end in a sale, so some of the budget went on enquiries that never turned into revenue.

In a crowded market, simply raising the budget would not have fixed this. The campaign needed tighter control over where the money went.

What we did: remove waste, match the ads more precisely

We worked on four areas of the account.

  1. Excluded unprofitable keywords

We removed search phrases that generated clicks but no enquiries for a quote.

  2. Changed the bidding model and adjusted CPC bids

We changed how the campaigns bid so that the budget stopped going on low-value clicks.

  3. A/B tested the contact forms

We shortened the process and removed unnecessary fields, so that interested visitors had fewer reasons to drop out.

  4. Added remarketing

We ran remarketing to people who had visited the website but had not filled in the form.

The results: more effective ads and cheaper leads

The cost per contact came down, a real saving in the advertising budget. The campaigns also brought in a larger number of valuable enquiries for a quote, and the cost per click fell as the Google Ads account was optimised.

We report the figure as stated in the original case study. It does not publish a baseline value, the number of leads or the measurement period.

Our takeaway

Effective advertising is not about a bigger budget, but about better control over spending.

Why fewer clicks can be better

A click that never leads to an enquiry still costs money. In a competitive industry, those clicks add up quickly and push the cost per contact up.

That is why this project focused on removing the queries and bids that did not pay off, and on making the enquiry form easier to complete. The same approach works for any online shop that needs more efficient Google Ads for ecommerce. If you want to see where your own account loses money, start with a free Google Ads audit.
