The client and the goal

Grupa590.pl is a recruitment agency. Its online campaigns bring in applications from candidates for its job offers.

The goal was to lower the cost of winning a conversion, without any compromise on the quality of the candidates. We worked on this as a Google Ads project.

The challenge: how to win valuable leads for a recruitment agency without burning the budget

The problem was a high cost per conversion and low lead quality. The campaigns generated applications, but many of the candidates did not meet the requirements of the job offers.

For a recruitment agency, an application from the wrong person is a cost, not a result. The campaigns had to bring fewer irrelevant applications and more suitable ones.

What we did: precise targeting and a better online application process

We worked on four areas.

  1. Campaign segmentation by job offer

We built separate campaigns for specific positions, with ads matched to each one.

  2. Traffic filtering

We excluded people who did not meet the key requirements.

  3. Form optimisation

We shortened the application path and made the first contact simpler.

  4. Retargeting

We reached people who had started to apply but had not finished, using remarketing.

The results: higher-quality applications and a lower cost per conversion

Cost per conversion down by 55%. Ads and forms were better matched to what the offers required.

A higher share of qualified candidates. The campaigns brought applications that fitted the job offers more often.

Faster recruitment time. The original case study lists it among the results without giving a figure.

The original case study does not publish a measurement period, the advertising budget or the number of applications, so we report only the figures it states.

Our takeaway

An effective recruitment campaign is not about more leads, but about more valuable candidates.

What this means for other lead-driven businesses

A lower cost per conversion only matters if the conversions are the right ones. In this project we got there by splitting campaigns by offer, keeping out people who could not qualify, making the first step of the application easier and following up on unfinished applications.

The same logic applies to any business that sells a service and wants better leads. See our Search Ads management or ask for a free Google Ads audit to find out where your own campaigns lose money.
